Re: Farmall 100 plow question
The landside should have an "O" (the letter) in front of the number, that is O2098A.

Re: Farmall 100 plow question
Thanks again for the help Jim. The plow is plowing great right now so I think I will just keep my eyes open and scrounge around for some original parts. It just plows so nice to abandon.

Re: Farmall 100 plow question
Keep an eye out for the replacement parts, but also keep an eye out for a plow with Super Chief bottoms that you can cannibalize.
Don't pay more than $100 per bottom for the plow, and if you do find one and have a few spares, find me. I'm from just North of Arcade (North Java area), and I visit there often. I'd gladly take whatever you didn't use off your hands because I've got a Little Genius and a Cub plow that need new wear parts.
BTW, you'd have a rough time pulling a trailer plow with your 100. Mounted plows transfer the downward pull from the bottom to the tractor, increasing traction. Trailer plows do not, so the tractor has to pull the plow with brute force. Even though a Farmall H doesn't have much more horsepower than a 100, it can pull a 2-14 trailer plow easily because it's so much heavier and has much larger tires.

Re: Farmall 100 plow question
If I find something good I'll let you know, you do the same. I really like how the drawbar plow plows so that is what made me get over the trailer idea at least for now. I really like the job my plow does. Beautiful furrows turned all the way over and slightly broke up, pulls like it's not even there. (i have great soil) and there its less needed headland space with the mounted plow.

Re: Farmall 100 plow question
Don't forget you could always go with a 1 point Fast Hitch with your Farmall 100. They made 1 and 2 bottom plows for the Fast Hitch as well as Disk Harrows, Bush Hogs, Planters, and many more implements. Basically just back up and go, without leaving the tractor. PM me if you're intrested in knowing more. I've got tons of implements and a fast hitch I can send you pictures of to show you what it looks like and how it works
