I have a farmall 100 with a fast hitch and would like to buy a moldboard plow for it. Which plow is appropriate for my tractor? My intention is to plow a vegetable garden (half acre).
Thanks,
Jim

Wow, a year late... you may want to check with Boss Hog. The one I thought was for a Cub was actually for a 100/140 (Peter Person and Bill Hudson figured it out) and it went south last year.
You can borrow my Cub plow if you want.

Check out the "2010 Fall Plowday" gallery here:
http://www.ihcc37.com/pages/galleries.htmlThe first pic in the gallery shows a 100 with a 2 btm. plow. Two 12's or 14's.They made an earlier version with beams like a Cub plow, but this one was made in the 140 era and has trip-back beams and is a nicer plow overall.

Jim,
Check with Chris.
He bought one at CTCubFest in 2010.

Thanks for some leads and information guys. The previous owner of the 100 had a double plow like the one in Al's plowday photos but the older version (without trips). It was pretty worn out and he thought it was gold plated, so I passed.
Just guessing: a 1 bottom plow for an a-140 is 16"?
There is a 194 plow on the way to Dartmouth as we type, so the cubs will be good to go this spring.
