Re: fast hitchG'day to you and congrats
on the new to you 140. There is a lot of information available to our members although not a lot on the Numbered Series tractors. However, many of our members do have em ... so there is a substantial knowledge base available to you. Although the Welcome Wagon etc., is primarily orientated towards Cubs there is still a wide array of information that is applicable to other sides of the community.

Re: fast hitch
There should be a sway bar on it If I get a chance I will post a pic of what it should look like Boss IN GOD WE TRUST

Re: fast hitchHere is a picture of a Cub from TM Tractor Parts. Note the assembly that runs diagonally from one side to the other. Your 140 should have similar parts.

Re: fast hitchthat is exactly what i have. but i seam to have side play.maybe that is normal. this is the first fast hitch i have owned.maybe i am used to the three point hitch. i had chains that i could tighten and take the play out.this is an extreamly tight tractor.thanks for your imput.
Re: fast hitchThe L-shaped handle in the middle of that brace is used to lock the sway down. With it tight, side sway is minimal, no more than a 3-point with the sway bars in place. With the l-shaped handle loosened, it is free to sway within the limits of the roll pin and slots to the left of the handle.
Re: fast hitchok i did that and it helped . thanks
