130 Tranny question with picHere's what my tranny looks like.
The oil slinger is pooched. What about those gears? Just Do It !
Re: 130 Tranny question with picIt's hard to tell from the picture, but I'd change the oil slinger , check the bearings and run it. The oil slinger was available aftermarket from http://www.valu-bilt.com for +/- $64.00 under part number A 719989. It now lists "call for availability". You might also try A&I at https://www.allpartsstore.com but it is more like $140.00 depending on the dealer. Seems like someone on here was/is an A&I dealer. The part number is A-354643R11. In case your wondering Case/IH is $285.19.
Good luck. The 130 is a good tractor. I love my Super A. The four most expensive words in tractor restoration: "We might as well..."
Re: 130 Tranny question with picDaniel,
Someone on the YT board said that the oil slinger is only required if your tractor has a PTO, which mine does not. So I'm thinking just remove it, change seals and bearings and git 'er done. And, the 130 and the Super A are great machines. Just Do It !
Re: 130 Tranny question with picI may have one I will look when I am better
