I'm looking at a $12 part for my 130. The shipper says $16 to ship. Will I have to pay any duty on this? It's a private sale.

I want the part, but don't want to end up paying $50 all tolled.

Any time I buy a part from Ebay, shipping cost me more than the part does.About $25.00 for me.You will not have to pay duty on anything $20.00 or less. The shipper may have to fill out a form.Have him put used parts and value under $20.00 Hope this helps. I have had to pay as much as $40.00 for a heavy part, about ten pounds.

I always request that the seller ships it to me thru USPS not UPS or Fed Ex. It seems to by pass the duty guys that way. If it is a small item the seller can buy a flat rate box for $23.00(if I remember correctly). Also get the seller to mark the customs label with used ag. part or gift if they are willing.

Bruce,brian,

Thanks, I did some calls to the post office, and they said the same thing. I decided against the part. The shipping was more than the part, plus, I did not need it bad anyway.
