Trying to figure out what this linkage rod goes to, it is approximately 72" long. Maybe a plow? Maybe a disk? Not sure. Seems too short for a steering plow but maybe not.
Maybe it fits another model tractor (Cub, C, Super C ) ??

Re: Linkage rod what is it???
Looks very similar to the steering rod used on a cub 151 rear mount disc plow. I think it might be a little longer than the one used on a cub though.

Re: Linkage rod what is it???
I was thinking it was a plow steering rod from the looks of it but didn't think it would be long enough for either. Maybe it is....I've never hooked one up. Might fit the Super A version?
Anyone else??

Re: Linkage rod what is it???
On a cub that steering rod ran from the right front spindle to a bracket with a pivot arm on it, then a second one that was adjustable went to the rear wheel to steer the back of the plow. I think the Super A used a similar system.

Gotcha. So, sounds like it was a 2-piece linkage so to speak.
Anyone know the model of plow that fit the Farmall A and Super A sized tractors so I can possibly look it up in a parts manual or by pictures ? I will also try looking in the Cub 151 parts book.

Not sure, but I think it may be an A161. Very similar to the Cub 151, but was a 2 disc plow.

Sounds good John. Thank you for your help. I'll try searching A-151 and A-161 plows. I looked in the Cub parts/owners manual for the Cub-151 plow and it shows it but doesn't tell how long it is. I guess I'll just have to find someone with a setup like that to measure their rod.

Re: Linkage rod what is it???
Thanks Jim. Will do.
I did find information on an A-151 plow as well, just need to find someone who owns one to measure their rod and match mine up.

I am pretty sure Jim has the right number. Mine was both wrong and mistyped.Jim Becker wrote:You might try A-251.

Can't seem to find anything referencing an A-251 plow. The A-151 plow does show some info though.
