Does any members have a one point fast hitch and a belly mower? Particularly a *L 59 belIy mower. i am wondering if I can keep the hitch hooked up with the mower on. Or do you have to remove one to use the other. Thanks againoi

You can have both installed, but it requires a special chain drive that attaches to the PTO, then drops down to the idler pulleys and on to the 59. They don't come up often, and can be a bit pricey, but they are out there.

I may be misunderstanding, but I have a 56 loboy with a FH and a woods belt driven 59 mower with a PO mule drive.

Not sure if A, SA, 140 is different from a Cub/Cub LoBoy but I have a 57 Cub LoBoy w/FH and Pennington Mule drive bolted to the rear of the transmission, PTO shaft comes through the middle of the plate. No need to remove anything to use the mower and/or FH.

Since I'm on my phone, I'm limited as to how much searching I can do, but here is a photo of the assembly I am talking about. THIS one is for a regular Cub, not a loboy, however I think there is also one for the loboy.

What exactly is a mule Drive? I have both pto shafts on my 140. Do I still need the mule drive if I have both pto shafts. But y'all are saying that I can leave the Fast hitch 100% hooked up and have the mower deck on and they won't interfere with each other.

My apologies...I was confused about which tractor you had. The chain drive assembly I spoke of is for a cub. I am not sure if they made a similar setup for a 140. Perhaps someone more familiar with the 140 will chime in. Sorry!

Now I'm confused. Why would I need a chain drive. What type of tractor is that chain drive on?

Re: Fast hitch and L 59 belly = ?
The Cub equipped with a FH requires the chain drive to clear the FH components. I'm not sure what a 140 with FH requires. I have a non FH Cub with the chain drive (came with the tractor). A 'mule drive' is the pair of sheaves (pulleys) and associated brackets that turns the belt from from vertical to horizontal. You can see them in the picture above and in my picture below.

OK im seeing that the chain drive is for the cub, but I'm wanting to know about the 140. I believe all I need is to he. Rackets and pulleys.
