Super A Touch Up

Postby ajhbike » Sat Jan 13, 2018 9:43 pm

A friend of mine asked me to take his Super A and give it a make over. I have had it a month or so and drive it around a little. The Super A is some little beast! It ain't no cub.
It is hefty and powerful and the split hydraulics is a real plus. I am glad to have the chance to spend some time with it I...very impressive.

One of the oldtime Farmall salesman was known for saying, “pound-for-pound the Super A was the best tractor IH made.”

Yep, I wish it was mine. Unfortunately he is going to put the tractor on display in front of his factory like he did with the rehabbed cub he bought so my job is to paint her up to preserve it. I agreed to do it on the condition he started it up in place every other month....so someday it can be put back into action.
