Rockshaft Lift rod

Postby superman » Tue Jun 06, 2017 9:41 am

I need to replace the rockshaft lift rod on my Super AV. It has the "regular" lift arms in back, no fast hitch.
I found a 140 lift arm for sale that has the hook and large spring... as shown here:

Would this work or was this made for use on fast hitch system only?

That rod was made for Fast-Hitch. I doubt it will fit. But it might fit if you use the entire assembly as pictured. Check overall length and the relevant diameters.

Thanks Jim... I have asked the seller for measurements. It appears that the fast hitch rear arm was bent out to side more that regular one, according to some picture I have seen. I assume this was done to keep the rod straighter. Using the fast hitch rod on regular lift might cause it to hit fender. Not sure, what do you think?

I just don't know. Maybe someone that has been around more of the 100/130/140 Fast-Hitch tractors has a comment. Maybe Boss Hog has an idea?

I'm almost 99.99999% positive the trunion in front of the spring, which attaches the rod to the rockshaft, is too big for standard Super A--140 rockshaft.

Yeah thanks... had the guy send me measurements and it's 7/8" diameter trunk on pin. Mine measures about 5/8".

Could someone please possible give me dimensions for the non fast hitch Super A lift link Trunnion?
Mine is so messed up and butchered by PO that I don't think I'm getting accurate measurements.
I would like to get a machine shop to build me one...
I have attached a sketch if any one would be willing to print and fill out for me that would be great.
Thanks in advance...

Yes that's it... on the one I have the rod itself is not that bad, needs a little straightening that is it.
But the Trunnion at the end is messed up bad.
