130 Ready for snow season

Postby EZ » Sun Oct 30, 2016 3:01 pm

After tinkering for a good number of years, I declare this beast is done!
Actually finished last year, but had not sprayed the tin, lights, or drawbar.
The snow blade will take 10 min. to hook up to once the snow starts to come.

Ah yes,
The battery box would have been nice.
Could not find a low enough price on one though, but will be on the lookout for a decent used one.
The rear weights came from Le Sueur Pioneer Power Meet in MN. way back in 2010.
The snow blade and hardware came from George Willer way back in 2008. I picked it up in MI. as one of our members (cowboy) brought it up from Ohio.
When I came back across the Canadian border and was asked if I bought anything, I said "I bought a 1955 Super A Snow Blade for my tractor."
"How much did you pay?" she said.
"One case of Labatts Blue, and 26'er of Canadian Club Whiskey"
"Good deal" she said, "Be on your way now"
George had the whole thing pre-primed so it did not rust.
Many parts were procured through Ontario Used Tractors and Chas Richards & Sons in Stouffville, ON.
Thanks for the nice comments.
