Old Ugly is the Super A I bought from a forum member several years back. I added a set of rear wheel weights and a fast hitch and have been using it pretty much as my go-to tractor. I have an IH 120 disk harrow, IH 215 two bottom (14") plow, a 100 blade, IH platform carrier, and a 194 plow (16".)

I've always wanted to learn how to do basic body work and paint. So last June I signed up for a continuing ed course at the local community college. It was a GREAT opportunity. Their shop is pretty well set up, they normally teach collision repair, airbrushing, general painting (they have a state of the art mixing room and downdraft paint booth,) and other goodies. So by Christmas Old Ugly was painted. I put it in the shop at school where my small engines class has installed a new ring gear and good pressure plate courtesy of another forum member, repaired the brakes on the right side, and put everything back together.

They got it running again last Friday. Yesterday I took it and the 215 plow to a big plow day near Rocky Mount, NC. The tractor ran like a top and now looks good doing it!

It's taken me this long to accept giving any tractor a name. No need to push it....

Before my students fixed the ring gear in it, I thought about naming it after this brand of Australian ether starting fluid:
