Changing Fan Belt on Farmall 130

Does anyone have any tips on changing the fan belt on a Farmall 130 Tractor? Thanks

About the same as on a Cub, which has been discussed a lot. Loosen the fan hub by turning the shaft, not the nut. You have to work the new belt in over the fan blades one at a time. Unlike the Cub, the generator belt gets tighter as the fan is raised. Make sure the generator belt isn't so tight it keeps the fan from going high enough to tighten the fan belt. Normally, you would loosen the generator belt then retighten it as the last step. If a second person is nearby when you get ready to tighten the fan belt, he can insert a pinch bar over the governor to pry the fan hub up while you tighten the shaft from the other side. If using this method, be careful to not mar the pulley with the bar and don't overtighten the belt.
