Sealing ring

Postby minkbigbird » Mon Aug 11, 2014 3:33 am

G'Day all. I was hoping some one may be able to help in locating the sealing ring # 358 208 R1 that fits in the belt pulley drive housing on my SAV its listed in the parts catalog TC-39C as item 13 and it looks like an "O" ring but with a flat section. Case IH. here in Australia list's it as NLA. I was able to get most of the other seals and bearings localy.I have tied the net but no luck. thanks.

http://www.messicks.com has three in stock, listed at about $8 US. I'm sure they would ship one to you.

Is there any chance the old one is good enough to measure and then check with suppliers there (hydraulic shop, bearing/bushing supplier, etc.)? If it will fit in a regular envelope, I'd think it could be mailed there for just a few $$. You might want to call Messick's and inquire about the postage charge.
