A implements manual?

Postby Capnball » Tue Aug 05, 2014 2:26 pm

Guys, I'm trying to stave off buying paper copies of the manuals for my A for as long as possible. Right now, that money would go a long way toward parts. Anyhow, thanks to some helpful folks on here, I've got digital copies of several manuals, but I have not been able to get a digital copy of the implements or implements parts manuals. I've started to find implement parts around the farm, and need to be able to figure out how to ID, repair, and reassemble them. Do y'all know of a source for digital copies of these manuals?

I'm sure the manual reproduction companies have digital copies, but they aren't likely to share them with you without some significant exchange of money.

Other than that, I am not aware of any group as dedicated to A's as the guys around here are to Cubs. It took Rudi God knows how long to digitize and post the dozens of Cub manuals on this site. That's what you call a labor of love, and not many people are that dedicated to a cause to do it for nothing else but "warm fuzzies."

Many of the folks on this forum have SA or similar tractors, and are familiar with many of their implements. All you need to do is post some photos of the items to be identified, and you will probably get lots of help! Welcome and good luck!

Exactly what I'm fixing to do. Y'all check the next thread I start on that very subject.

I don't even own a Cub. I have a Super A so all of my knowledge and attention is on that subject.

I love ALL tractors, but red ones have a special place in my heart :) If anyone has some A/SA manuals that wants to share with other members, I would be happy to scan/post them to our online collection (provided they are not copyrighted).
