Lost the Main Metering jet assembly on Carter-UT

Postby DerickB » Fri Jul 04, 2014 3:56 pm

I am trying to find out some information on the model and size of the (Fixed) Main metering jet (assembly) of a
Carter-UT (O-653/652 model), bottom part alum. (O-653), top part cast iron (O-652), that was lost while doing a
cleanup/repair on the carb.

The tractor is a (1947's?) Super A, and engine or model number is either; 315357/1540 or 351687-R4 or 354898-R1.
(Different locations on the engine.)

Also, where can I find one or more different sized Main Metering Jets to try out and optimize running of the engine.
Does someone still produce them or have them in stock?

Please give me a shout, :help:

Thanks

Give these folks a try. Helped me out when I couldn't find the parts to an unusual carburetor.
I have an excuse. CRS.
