Hydro

Postby Mr Joshua » Mon Apr 01, 2013 9:24 pm

Amanda and i we talking about her 45 a that i am tearing apart due to a broken crank. The engine is out of a c. She asked me if it was possible to put super hydraulics on it. I have been trying to think of what all would be needed. All i can think of is the pump, touch control unit, bell housing, hydro lines, dash and the levers. What else would be different?

For all the work and expenses I would think buying a super A would be cheaper.

Yeah, what John said.

You also need a fuel tank. If you want to use Super A rear mounted equipment, you will also need fenders, drop housings and drawbar. In other words, most of the tractor from the flywheel back. Almost a shorter list of what you get to keep (transmission, platform, seat, steering wheel and everything in front of the engine).

I had not thought of the finals, but the implement mounts for Super A implements and A implements are different, including how and where the implements attach to the torque tube and to the finals.
