I recently rebuilt one of two spare touch control blocks...one removed from my parts '48 SA and the 2nd was thrown in when I bought the parts tractor. I really can't be sure what the 2nd one came off, but it looked the same. However, when I went to Stonethrow Cubfest to do the rebuild, I noticed they had 2 different block numbers. The one removed from the parts SA was #350644R1, which matched the other '48 I was restoring. The 2nd one was #354652R1. Anyone know what the 2nd one would go to? It LOOKS exactly the same, but I cannot be sure. I decided to rebuild the matching one, just in case they WERE different...since I wanted a spare for my working SA.
The guys at my local Case IH dealer couldn't find the part number listing, but I figured SOMEONE here would know where there is a "master list" of part numbers!?
Thanks!
(PS Anyone want to buy an unknown TC?!)

I expect it will fit a Super A, but came off a later tractor. What do the casting codes say as far as when it was cast? I looked in TC39 C and didn't see it listed, there are 5 different blocks called out for it, based on serial number, plus your original '48 TC block number. If you look in a Super A parts book, IH was doing a lot of weird things with the TC system up until tractor # 275023. Al Al

IH's are RED. Just say NO to yellow and white!
Let us pray for farmers and all who prepare the soil for planting, that the seeds they sow may lead to a bountiful harvest.

CaseIH parts locator page has "progressed" to where it is hard to make heads or tails out it. TC Block #354734R97(that's a lot of R changes)will work(ww)among others (none of which is 354652R1)for 350644R1 and R13.. No ref. to 354652R1. Soo does that help? probably not. With out the ooollldd hard copy parts books or even early micro fishe, you can't pin every part # down.

Jim, it's quite possible that you are right...another thing to check along with the casting date. I'll be out at the farm this weekend and look more closely. Thanks guys!
