Thanks Bill. I keep my tractors real clean, that's why the mower decks came off and got auctioned off. I'm not afraid to use them though, and sometimes I just go for a ride to my friends house 3 miles away. I have 2 John Deere's that I mow with. let them get filthy underneath. My Cub, Super A, and my 154 Lo Boy get waxed, even the oil pans and everything underneath.

Thank you Dusti. I do the best I know how, and I hope someday I'll get better at painting. I don't have any trouble with mechanical stuff, but body work drives me nuts, it's what the onlookers see. This one did turn out pretty good though, even when I dropped the decal on the floor, sticky side down, of course.

Thanks for the compliment, Tom

Looks like you know what you're doing both mechanically AND aesthetically. 8)

Our local TSC just made the switch from Valspar to Majic brand paint. Looks like it covers well. Great job!!

Thank you Stanton. The Majic brand works well for me, I also use their brand of reducer and hardner. Like I said I'm not much of a painter, but I think the hardner makes me look better than I am. That stuff really makes it shine and look a mile deep.

I get runs too, but they seem to be strategicly located where only I know where they are. That's the hard part of painting for me. put it on heavy, but not too heavy. Thanks for the compliment.

Looks like we are on the same page.

I just bought a couple HVLP guns, 1 for primer, 1 for top coats.
Never used them before, and I've only used the standard guns during the painting of my '67 Loboy.

I have been doing a rear to front resto on this 130 for the last 6 years. Bits and pieces when I find time.
Just Do It !

I have the oppisite proplem. I have all day everyday to work on my tractors, but we're planning a move so my Wife put the kaibash on my tractor buying and big projects.(Wife is much smarter than me) I think when it comes to painting you'll like those guns. I always paint the backside of everything first for good practice. I'd like to see that 130 done.
