super a final drive

Postby zack » Sat Sep 19, 2009 12:10 pm

I have a super A that has bad final drives because someone broke the castings around the draw bar bolt holes.
The other day I found a good deal on some 140 final drives, now I am hoping someone could tell me if these will bolt right up to the super A.
These drives I got are complete with axle shafts and everything inside will I be able to bolt them right on or not? or did I just buy two boat anchors
Thanks,
Zack

I'm sure someone will be able to tell you for sure, but I am going to take a guess and say that they will bolt right on, good luck :D

Isn't the farmall A, the farmall super A, the farmall 100, the farmall 130 and the farmall 140 just all the same as the farmall A when it comes to the basic tractor tranny and finals? There all related right? (samey/same)
I'm technically misunderstood at times i guess its been this way my whole life so why should it change now.

Thats what I was thinking when I bought them. I want to put new seals in them but I don't have the time to put them on right now. So I was going to reseal them and get them ready for the restoration. I was hoping someone would know for sure before I put any more money into them.
Thanks,
Zack
