need help identifing a farmall a

im getting this farmall a for pratacly nothing. i have no seen this in person yet. since i do not know much about the a models, can someone tell me what year and what dose it appear to have? and what is that tank infront of the dash?

Well - determining the year requires a serial number or date stamp information from the castings. It is an industrial model - it has the square front axle. Plus the rear wheels are different. The tank appears to be a hydraulic reservoir. It looks like it may have a pto driven hydraulic pump as there are some hoses evident at the rear.

I think it may be the stock wheel, but reversed to the wide position and in a shadow makes it look odd. Otherwise, I agree with what has been said.

Look for the s/n plate on the left fender close to the seat.

well, i chated back and forth via email to this lady with the a and when i asked for a contact number to come pick it up, never herd from her again. mabye she figured its probably worth somthing if somewone is willing to drive 45min and load it up. i dont know, im just dissapointed.
