farmall A again
Hello again, I still got no spark to distributor. Set rotor to no. one tower after impulse coupler snapped, with engine on compression stroke for no. one cylinder What could it be?

Archie - I don't know if I mis-understood your previous post or not. Did you say you had spark from the coil but not from the distributor (to the plugs).
Your statement in this post is that you have no spark to the distributor. Can you clarify?

Hey Bigdog,what i have is an h-4 mag with the square coil on top of it. All original. I have a hot spark from it holding about 1/4 inch from tractor iron. but i have nothing exiting the plug wires. Thanks

OK - you have fire from the coil but not from the distributor. That means the coil and the lead from it are OK as are the points. Your problem is in the delivery system - ie the distributor and rotor. As mentioned in your other post if you have the rotor pointing at #1 just after the impulse kicks you should be in time. Make sure your rotor is contacting the cap at the center tower.
