Super A paint color question
I am hard at work getting my Super A restored and ready for paint. I am not sure what color to paint the radiator on the tractor. It appears that it was black in the past, but my friend claims that it should be painted Farmall red like the rest of the tractor. What is the correct color to paint the radiator to make the tractor historically correct? Thanks for any info anyone can give me. Ken

My guess would be black with red overspray.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

Eastwood makes a special paint just for radiators.

Regular paint is too heavy on the fins for good heat transfer. I also assume they were black when installed and then "misted" with red when the tractor was sprayed. I believe the grill was on when they were painted at the factory and maybe the hood.
