super A hood emblem

I tried a search, but couldn't find anything on the hood emblem colors. Should the back ground be shinny of white? Black and white in the book doesn't help. My old emblem is a little bent, but I want to use it. It gives her character.

I am almost sure the (A) and super A where just silver no color like on the bigger letter series.
