Gotta get my brain wrapped around these hydraulic concepts...

The Henderson loader has its own control, just one lever that when pulled back will raise it, and when pushed forward will let it down of its own accord.

Sometimes, not always, when I move one of the Touch Control levers, (I think it's the one on the left) the loader will start to raise, and it will keep going even if I put the Touch Control lever back to its original position or move the Henderson lever to try to lower it! What gives?

The Henderson control is attached to the Touch Control unit by being tapped into the hydraulic manifold through the rearmost tap and also underneath the manifold. As in this picture...

The control valve for the loader is leaking internally. That's the only possible explanation. There should be no other way for fluid to get into the cylinders except through the valve. If that's the case, it must be leaking.

One of those hoses from the hydraulic manifold should go to the IN port on the loader control valve, and the other to the OUT port. One of the "work" ports on the valve should go to a T, which in turn should to to the bottom of each cylinder. The other work port should be plugged, though it may be connected to the tops of the cylinders through another T if you have two-way hydraulics on the loader. There should be no other connections. If there are, it's plumbed incorrectly.
