Well, the proof is in the pudding. There are only 2 documented uses of power beyond valves use on power angles on this site, at least that I can find, the one I used and the one Rick Prentice used. Why? Because they aren't needed to plumb or operate a power angle. You are free to build your system any way you like and it's up to you if you want the added cost and complexity by adding a power angle to your Cub or Super A.
Many of the members on here are working outside of their comfort zone doing this modification and I can't see why we need to make it more confusing or more difficult to achieve what they want to achieve. The photos below are all from members here who added a power angle to their Cubs without a power beyond valve and I'm sure they all work just the way they intended them to. Simply adding a P and T line to their auxiliary valves is the simplest and easiest way to get the job done with the least amount of cost and effort.

To the OP,
Best advice I have for you is to consult the manufacture of the valve you are planning to use, might buy, etc, on how it will be plumbed based on your intended use
The manufacture of said valve will have detailed know how on what can be done with their valves.
None of us here at the Cub Club know which brand of valve you will choose.
I did my own research and when I found the schematic provided by the Prince company on how they give detailed instructions, so that is the route I would use.
Here is the link again for the prince schematic on their proper hook up. ⬇️

If you have any more questions, etc (and we did not scare you away ) post them up.
Hopefully no matter the path you choose, it works out best for you!

Re: Super A or Cub bypass block question
I installed my hydraulic angle in 2004 and at that time nobody could or wouldn't give me information on how to do it. I was on my own and it has worked well since. Jim Becker thought that my approach should work and it did. It is the first power angle on a Cub that I know of.

Re: Super A or Cub bypass block question
I don't have a power beyond valve on either of my 100 or my Cub. I only do one thing at a time. Other than having the relief valve set to high back in 2017 on the Cub and blowing out the pump I've never had any issues with it.
Edit Ricky has two Cub pics that are very familiar so I'll post the 100 pics, no extra valve that Jim is talking about.
