I just purchased a '53 Super A that has been in the shed for the last 15+/- yr.s, this according the the guy who I bought it from. He had bought it from a guy's estate. I have been draining and replacing fluids, etc and am getting close to trying to crank it but the clutch is stuck and I would like to get it free. Could someone tell me what is the best way to accomplish this. I have the inspection cover off but before I get carried away with a crow-bar ........ Also, if anyone has suggestions for what I need to look out for I would appreciate any help before I throw the switch.
Thanks, GAGoober

had an 'A' from the musuem that was going to auction, so i brought in the shop to get it running and such. tried everything to free up the clutch...nada....didn't have time to split it so it went in the auction that way. had a lot of fun driving it around....
bottom line is that the clutch no doubt needs replacement anyway....soooo
