Hello all , looking for help , l threw in the towel , restored a 39 A , everything is good except I have an oil leak at the front of oil pan that is really bad . Tried several different things to seal it up , except for a different pan gasket , the one I have is the one that came with the kit a fairly hard maybe card board type , but I need help now seems to be from the two outer bolts that are 1- 1/2 long that go into the bridge on engine above the oil pan . Thanks

Are you sure the oil is from the oil pan gasket? It is not unusual for the front engine (crankshaft) seal to leak.

No I'm not sure it is the gasket , it is leaking at the two outer bolts that go into the bridge , the crankshaft seal is new and dry , have had the pan off 3 times can't find the problem tried sealing the bolts but does not help , the leak is bad .

+1 Eugine,
I'd use the "Ultra Blue" and let it semi-harden before install, not fully cured but still not soft so it won't all just squirt out when you tighten it. The ultra blue is higher temp but another thing is it swells just a tad when exposed to oil so hopefully this would do better than just regular RTV.
