Back in November I bought a 100 fast hitch from tst. When I went to pull the drawbar off the Super A to install it, I found someone had welded the studs into the finals!!!
I reefed on them and decided they were too well anchored to come out easily. You guys gave me a few suggestions including drilling them out and even replacing the finals.
So this afternoon I took another crack at it. Working in the grass instead of on crushed stone, I carefully nibbled away at the weld on the first stud with a cutoff disc on my grinder, then slapped the 18" pipe wrench on it and gave it a tug. At first it felt like the wrench slipped but the stud was turning. It came right out.
Got brave on the next one, slapped the pipe wrench right on that one because it looked like it had a lot less weld than the first. Popped right loose and spun out. Same deal on the other two...
Why I could not budge them back in the winter is beyond me.
Anyway studs are out, all holes have good thread, and the hitch is hung. Need a few bolts to finish installing it but it on there!
I was even able to use the homemade depth linkage from my A193 plow on the front bail. Fit perfectly.
Chalk one up for the "good guys."

Niiiice!
Must be fun squirming to get on, with the fast hitch on the back and the loader in front!

Getting on is surprisingly easy with that nice step on the loader frame.
It's going to take some getting used to, having the hitch come up so close behind, and so high. I like that it goes that high, but you get this feeling like the hitch is going to come up and jam you straight in the rear when you see it out of the corner of your eye.
