The Beat goes on!!

Postby Dusty B » Mon Jul 23, 2018 7:47 am

Now that it is running on all 4 cylinders!?! Need suggestions for freeing up the governor (hopefully w/o taking it off). Does not react to throttle movement - Seems free on its own but does not transfer throttle movement to the carb? Dusty B

Will it hold engine at steady speed as load changes, such as going up and down hills? If it holds a steady speed, just not change when throttle moved, the spring that connects the throttle to the governor rod may be bad or wrong spring. Try moving carb. rod with your hand to see if it pushes back.
If you are not part of the solution,
you are part of the problem!!!
