Hey guys here is a little trick, for pounding out some of the dents when you are working on stuff. The biggest problem with pounding back out a dent is distortion, so place your object in sand or pea stone then hit it, this adds support to the other side so that it doesn't twist and distort :D . Using this method you don't have to use a piece of wood to buffer- the hammer works fine and you will be amazed at the control you gain! (plus I get to tell my son that "he helped daddy" for letting me use his playground to work in, when your 2 1/2 helping dad is a big deal)

Just thought I'd share some back,
