tractor trolley
I had to split my tractor to work on the clutch, but I don't have a nice big shop with concrete floor. Neither did I have anyone to help me. So I worried about how to reconnect the two halves when I finished. This is what I came up with. I call it my "tractor trolley." The v-groove caster wheels on inverted angle ensure smooth rolling and perfect horizontal re-alignment of the two mating surfaces while the jack is used to obtain vertical alignment. It worked for me. I hope the picture is self-explanatory. I'm very much an amateur at welding, so as you can see my welds do not carry any significant loads. The trolley is metal on top of metal, so the welds just keep it together.

Now that is neat! No reason that wouldn't work on a concrete floor, as well. Now Barnyard can split multiple Cubs in BOB. I like it.

Re: tractor trolley
That is a combination of creativity and practicality. I wish I had thought of doing something like that, but if I had, I might not have my shed. Guess it's a good thing I did not think of it.
