Tom from Bagdad

Hi, this is Tom from Bagdad, Florida. I run Bagdad Antique Tractor & Engine (BATE). Usually do Massey Harris and Ford but picked up a 75 International yellow and White Cub the other day from a field. Got it unstuck and running but came to a dead end on choosing paint for it. I am leaning towards the Sunburst Yellow and Arctic White even though I love the Cub Cadet Federal Yellow. :help: Could use some guidance here. All the blogs don't specify which cub they are talking about (to a newbie). This is a great site. Thanks in advance for any help one can offer.

Welcome to the Forum Tom!
Paint color for many is personal preference. You'll probably get more replies to what paint brands others have used and had luck with.

Best of luck with your new tractor. If you are free in Feb, check out http://www.dscubfest.com

If your question is what the original shades were, use the Cub Cadet colors form the same time. There is usually more question about the white than the yellow. There were 3 different whites at different times.

Welcome to the forum. I am only about an hour west of you near Bay Minette AL. When you get a couple more posts you will have access to the tractor and equipment/implement manuals on the site. I second Raymond’s recommendation to attend the DSCF (Deep South CubFest) in Sneads FL in Feb. You are only about a 1.5 hour drive from Sneads. A CubFest isn’t your typical Tractor show. Forum members get together to work on Cubs. Normally there are 50+ members there from Colorado to New York and Michigan to Florida. Check out the CubFest section of the forum for details.
