Hello from Northern West Virginia

Postby lliberto » Mon Sep 26, 2016 3:13 pm

Hello,
My name is Larry. I'm from Northern West Virginia near Pittsburgh, PA. I've always been interested in antique tractors ever since visiting my great-uncle's farm in Dover, OH. I my interest got even bigger in the early 80s when I was an operator of old Worthington and Ford tractors at a local golf course. A few years later a friend at work began telling me stories about Farmall Cubs. I was hooked but since I didn't own any sizable property I never bought one. I still don't own anything that I can really justify the use of a Cub but now my son shares my passion for old tractors. So, I think I'm in the market for an old Cub.

Welcome, Larry.

I'm a native of the Parkersburg area and went to college in Pittsburgh. I also attended many antique steam/gas engine shows in Dover, OH when I was growing up. Who am I kidding, I'm still growing up. lol

Welcome Larry, just having one is justifiable :D , find one that is need of restoration and it would make a great father son project..... Warning, could become addicting, I'm buying implements for mine now to restore which I have no real use for

I was doing some trading for implements as I had 2 running cubs, but one broke, so now I need another cub or one fixed because I need tractors for my implements, (perfectly logical surmise no??)
