Fng from S.Cal

Postby jth_60_cub_Lo-boy » Tue Jun 21, 2016 5:31 pm

Acquired a 1960 cub lo-boy, it had been sitting for quite a while. Cleaned carb, fuel system, electrical connectors, spark plugs, and a new battery... Fired up fine

Welcome to the Forum. The next time you start it, check to make sure you show oil pressure on the gauge. After sitting they sometimes need to be primed. You'll find lots of info and manuals in the tool bar above. I'd suggest finding an owner's manual close to your year and check the maintenance schedule for fluid changes. There are some oddball lubrication places that are often neglected (fan, generator, throw out bearing, etc.). Let us know if you need any help.

Thanks Bob.

Thought the oil pressure gauge was broken since there was no pressure showing. Have to check prime now... Thanks
