Greetings from Dixie, MS

Postby Condre' » Wed Jun 08, 2016 1:17 pm

Never had a tractor before, but I recently bought a 56 Cub with a Woods 42 belly mover to mow several acres. I would also like to be able to tow a trailer around and maybe tree limbs that are too heavy for me to move. Can I put a hitch on the tractor while the mower is on it? What kind of hitch would I need to get?

Thanks,

Condre'

Welcome to the forum. Regular Cub or LoBoy? Do you have a drawbar or fasthitch? What does the "mule drive look like and how is it mounted to the finals? A few pictures would help to be able to answer your questions. Your zip code shows near Hattiesburg, MS. I'm a bit more than an hour away. Maybe we can connect. Send me a PM if you would like to. Welcome aboard!! The proper mounting for a Woods 42 on a Cub with drawbar, i.e., not fast hitch, has the drawbar still on the tractor. If it has a fast hitch, you could get a pullbar extension. What type of hitch are you looking for?
