Always wanted one!

Postby als » Wed Dec 02, 2015 8:18 pm

Now I have a lo-boy 185. Quick-way loader and (woods?) mower, creeper gears. New project to me. Does need some tlc and paint. Runs perfect, drives ok.
First time out was 5" of wet snow. Lol! 3x stuck on flat surface with bucket full of wet snow. Got out the Bolens Qt16 to help her back to the shop, then to blow the snow away. I kinda knew the turf tires wern't going to cut it with out chains on, wouldn't go on because of hyd hoses in the way.
Many question here from me coming. 1st being manuals.
Al.

Al, Welcome to the Forum. If you click on "PDF Manuals" in the tool bar above, and then "Number Series Cubs", you'll find a few manuals for the 185. Feel free to ask questions as they arise. Binder Books also has a very good selection of manuals.

Welcome to the forum. Some of the drive train components are common to the FCUB/LoBoy. You can find those manuals in the links above also. Stan

If adding chains, you should also be looking for wheel spacers.
The chains get way too close to the fenders without wheel spacers.
