Well years of searching for my cub and right as I nearly gave up I stumbled into two. The boss (wife) to my surprise says get it happy birthday ... So now I own two Farmall cub Lo boys the one is home still have to pick up other. It is a 1966 serial number 21556. Will be finally able to have the tractor I always wanted. This will be my first restoration so might be really looking for advise.
Also searching for the international 1000 loader but always too expensive. Been trying to find measurements or such to build one but yet to even see one.
Anyways will post pictures as it goes once I find out how and where to post them

Re: Hello
Welcome to the best FORUM for CUB and IH related information. If you haven't found it yet, there's lots of information (free downloads of Owners/Service/Parts Manuals, Implement manuals, etc) in the tool bar links at the top of this page. Click o PDF Manuals or Rudi's Manuals and you will be surprised at the wealth of information available. Post specific questions and requests on the FARMALL CUB forum and someone will answer your questions. Good luck and enjoy your new (to you) tractors!! Stan

Welcome to the forum from Arkansas. Congratulations as you have already made it past two hurdles, your first cub and your second cub, cause you can't just have one! Sounds like you are going to enjoy your projects.

Re: Hello
Thanks!! I will try to read up on all I can before bothering you all with tons of questions.
First I want to find where to get every gasket and seal I need to replace what I have when I tear it down, carb first which I think I have coming if it's the right one. I think that will get it running so I can hear it and find out how the rear end is and if engine is good. It turns over but leaks the entire tank of gas out the carb as all the gaskets seem shot
Then I want to try to find a 1000 loader! I have got it in my head I have to have that loader... Or reproduce one from measurements. I just think the offset with a one armed loader looks cool. Plus I can pretend I have a good reason for the tractor by using the loader for odd small jobs.
Once I get all my seals and gaskets and have listened to it run the fun begins. Want to strip and paint it all and find all the hidden issues

Re: Hello
Gaskets, seals, bearings, etc. can sometimes be purchased from local parts sellers i.e. NAPA. CASE-IH and the forum sponsers at the bottom of the page is also a good source. Sometimes you might have to get a roll of gasket material and make something that you need. The parts manuals at the top of the page will provide you the OEM part numbers which can sometimes be cross-referenced. You will get more responses if you post your questions on the FARMALLCUB FORUM which is primarily dedicated to the FCUB/INTERNATIONAL CUB and Cub LoBoy. Good Luck. Stan

Re: Hello
Welcome to the forum. We're a long ways apart but I've got your loader. A nice 1000 I have on a 140 I'm planning to sell. Are you up for a long road trip? I went from Ohio to Georgia to get it.
