My Old introduction

Postby NCGameWarden » Fri May 08, 2015 8:08 pm

Cub Owners,
I guess I am now new to the Farmall Cub web page.. I have been a Farmall Cub owner for about 5 years (1958 Cub). I got the Cub from my wife's grandpaw, who purchased the Cub new!! A lot of things have changed since I have been on the web page!! I really enjoy the information you all have compiled! I am now retired from the State of NC as a has been Wildlife Officer!!

Thanks,
Jimmy Boles

One year, 4 month after retirement! I love it! Most important, I am now working on the cub. New rubber all around. Had to add new rims for the back. The original ones were eat up by rust! The engine still purrs like a kitten. All fluid levels changed, Had to add a new radiator. Looking so forward to gardening this year with Paw Paws old All Original Cub, other than new rubber and radiator! Thanks for the Manuals online guys! Such quick and easy to find knowledge!

When you changed all the fluids, did you remember to oil the fan? If not, might check out the procedure in the manual...don't want to have to replace that new radiator again if the fan throws itself into pieces!!! :(
