Newbie from Northeast Indiana

Postby Dale Kettring » Fri Sep 26, 2014 2:03 pm

Just bought my Dad's old '51 (?) Cub. Electrics are toast, body is rusty, but starts up on the 2nd turn of the crank. Got a mouldboard plow, and a sicklebar mower with it for $200. Looking for a belly mower and a push blade.

Dale,
Welcome to the forum.
There was a good Case/IH dealer in Leo, IN - Scherer & Maxfield. Front parking lot is loaded with old IH tractors.
You just missed Central Indiana CubFest last weekend. :(

Enjoy the Cub, ask questions, post photos.

Dale,

Welcome to the forum. Enjoy the ride!

I was in your neck of the woods Sunday evening. Spent the night in Shipshewana.

Welcome to the group. You are just an hour and a half from Jeff's winter CubFest down near Indy coming in December. You should join us. We will be traveling two hours to get there.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Bend it all you want. That's one of the reasons we are here.
