Hand Me Down Cub Lo-boy 185

Postby rocket1054 » Mon Sep 15, 2014 1:46 pm

Hello,

I am the proud owner of a Cub lo-boy 185. We've had it in the family a long time as it was my father-in-law's prior to mine. The previous owner put an automobile alternator on it. I think I am going to remove it and get a working starter/generator for it. Today the starter won't turn over.

Welcome to the forum from Arkansas. Those starter/generators can be rebuilt. Not a big jog to put brushes in and clean them up and sometimes that is all they need.

Welcome to the forum from nearby Davison, MI!
Might want to check with Chapman's starter and alternator in Attica. He does great work!
