Hi, all. I joined so I can get connected with a lot of folks that own cubs and have an in depth knowledge of them. I'm looking to purchase one and have been researching them for the past year, but I'm not an expert by any means. I've seen a lot for sale but haven't decided what I want. I'm going to look at a 79' model on Saturday, hopefully it's not over priced. But, we'll see how it turns out. If it's what the owner says it is then it may be a keeper.

Welcome to the forum. Check members map, you have some members up there close to you.
edit: if this is the cub listed for 2250 in mt pleasant it is not a 79. Check at the bottom of page
and click on TM TRACTOR PARTS and check out how to ID a cub.
If you do buy it see if he has the rear cultivators and any thing else.

Welcome to the forum from Arkansas. Remember, looking and hunting is the fun part. They normally have a swap meet in Canton somewhere around April, a good place to shop and pick up some used parts.

Welcome to the forum! Also check out the Cubfest calendar (viewforum.php?f=8). There's a few Cubfests you might want to attend to meet other Cubbers and get questions answered or advice on a project.
