Hello from South Carolina

Postby LarryMack » Mon Jul 21, 2014 4:49 am

Hello my name is Larry and I have a 1949 Cub which was found behind a old barn here in South Carolina. With a little scrubbing and some new parts she ran and mowed some grass yesterday for the first time. I own a couple different Farmalls but this is my first Cub and it did a great job. Your forum has great info and the members seem friendly so once again hello from South Carolina.

Hello from the Upstate! I live up in the northwest corner of SC, but my farm is near Kingstree, so I get down to the flatlands quite often. Let us know how we can help.

Welcome!! If you want to work on your tractor, learn a lot about it, or just meet a lot of great forum/tractor folks and eat some great food, try to attend next year's DSCF (Deep South Cub Fest) in Sneads, FL. Usually the first of many during the year. Lots of fun and a good way to learn a lot about these tenacious little tractors!!

Check out all the manuals available above, and ask lots of questions! Most of all, have fun!!

Welcome to the forum from the Heartland! Glad to hear your (new-to-you) Cub worked out well. A great "barn find" indeed.

Would like to see some pictures of your '49 if/when you able to post 'em. Good info on posting pictures is here: viewtopic.php?f=148&t=27976
