NE Kansas

Postby StandardNellie » Wed Feb 26, 2014 10:26 am

Hello, my name is Richard, and I am the proud owner of a Cub, "Nellie". Nellie has been at our place for 14 years, mowing, hauling firewood and whatever else needs doing. Nellie's clutch is stuck, and I have been reading up about the parts and procedures to repair.

I would like to get in touch with tst to get a throw out bearing retainer, but PM is disabled for newbies. Could I get a moderator to consider enabling PMs?

Thanks!

Richard, Welcome to the Forum. You'll find a lot of friendly and knowledgeable Cub lovers here. I'll send Tim a PM and let him know you need a rear seal retainer.

Welcome to the forum, neighbor! You're just across the border. Would encourage you to attend an upcoming Cubfest this Spring in NE Oklahoma, Kansas or Missouri (schedule here: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=81945).

If you need help with the clutch install, you might contact one of the Cubfest hosts to determine if bringing your Cub (and all the necessary parts) out to it might be worthwhile. There's usually a lot of experience that shows up and Cubfests always need projects to keep us from standing around with our hands in our pockets. In other words, we'd be glad to assist you.

Again, welcome!

Welcome to the forum from Arkansas. I believe the pm's will be working soon. Good luck with the fix. We love to see pictures of Nellie and her clutch.
