Hello from NW Alabama

I've dropped by and done a good bit of research reading here before buying my first tractor (1950 Farmall Cub) a little over a week ago. I picked up a C2 mower, a disc and some disc hillers with it, and it came with a full set of cultivators mounted. I have done a LOT of study on these in the last few months and think that I made the right choice for what I need a tractor for.
I want one primarily for the acre garden with part time mowing duty capability secondary.
I look forward to learning from those here and hope to contribute to the knowledge base one day.

Welcome to the forum! It looks like you plan on having a little fun with it, I am sure it will serve you well.
Any traces of white (what is the serial #?)

Serial #112492. I don't know how many times it's been painted, but I can't see any signs of demonstrator white in any scratched spots.

Well, that is outside the range that has been somewhat identified to be 99536-106517, but for sure, you got a Cub!
You will probably like working it more if it is RED anyway!

Thanks for the welcome, ya'll.
After scaling back my garden plans last year to compensate for a deal on a 140 that my neighbor backed out on trading me, which led to a too small front tine tiller-garden....I am really looking forward to winter being over with and the dry out to get started.
