Hello all. I am Pat, a high school FFA student from ct. I got a 1947 Farmall cub with snowplow, fast hitch, and spare engine over the summer. I have plans to use to plow my quarter mile driveway and restore it. I have worked on cub lo-boys and ford tractors on my grandfathers farm in ct.

Welcome, Pat. I've spent a bit of time, "Here by the owl." FFA is a wonderful opportunity to expand your horizons.

Welcome to the forum from Arkansas. Take a little time to read all the material and manuals available. FFA. Fun days, I even attended the National Convention in Kansas City. Enjoyed my time way back then. Know things have changed a lot, but still a great organization.

Welcome to the forum. It's a great place to start if you are rebuilding a Cub or have any interest in Cubs at all for that matter.

I have a CT Wheel Horse that is sweet as can be. Got it at the swap meet at Zagray (more WH than Cadets!??), but failed to pay full attention to young fellow selling it. Turns out it is the only one with ever made with CCW blade rotation and there are no blades on this planet. It was supposed to mow the lawn up north. Truly a nice little tractor that needs an owner not intent on mowing with it. My tractors must earn their keep and this one isn't..... but surely belongs in a collection. So rare that it doesn't even show up in the listings of horses!Image

At least it blends in well with the 50 and 77 Cubs, but the mowing chores on the house lot are now done with a SNAPPER (Forrest Gump edition) that is also red. Sure beats the push mower!

Glad you are finding your family Cub useful.... they are great machines

I also have a lot of experience with the snapper rear engine riders my grandfather had about 50 of them at one time to use mowing between Christmas trees but in the past few years has been down to only 3 the rest were put in the scrap pile or turned into parts
