Farmall Cub

I've been silently stalking info on the board here for a few weeks and though it was time to register!

The Mrs and I are moving to a house with a much larger yard and want to do some mini farming so we're gonna need us a tractor...

When I was a kid my grandfather had a Farmall A in a shed behind the garage and I loved to go see it. I've heard stories involving late night next door parties which grandpa kindly responded to with early morning no muffler plowing fests... he was a Farmall man through and through.

While i'll always have a love for the A's we need a smaller unit so the CUB will be our choice for the garden, plowing snow, and mowing. I've been watching the classifieds getting a feel for prices in the area and hope to make a purchase by september. Until then i'll keep reading, soaking up Cub tidbits for the big day!

G'day to you and hey, congrats on being able to move to a larger property... The Cub will be the ticket for you and your plans for mini-farming. I am sure you will be very happy. But be careful, they are an addictive little tractor .. some of us .. well a lot of us have multiples

Hello from the bottom of the mitt!! Welcome to the best Cub website on the planet!!! I recommend that if you are going to use the Cub for multiple chores, try to find one with a Fast Hitch. Changing implements on Cub is kind of a pain in the butt, however a Fast Hitch makes changing implements much easier. FH implements are more expensive and harder to find but worth it unless you can afford or have room for multiple Cubs that can be dedicated to a particular implement.

Welcome to the forum. Now we need to find you a cub.

Welcome to the site. These Cubs are great little machines and as others have stated, quite addicting. Obviously they are well made as some have been around for 65 years and with some TLC they look and run like new. I have only one Cub but I have never regretted buying it.

I've got my eye on a few, one i'd love to buy right now... just no place to put it until we move! You better believe we're trying to move ASAP!
