I just wanted to introduce myself I'm from central Indiana a friend of mine introduced me to this forum. I have had the cub fever since last spring when I got a Cub Cadet 1811 from my father in law that he bought off of my dad several years ago. The 1811 was bought new by my grandpa in 1986 when he purchased a new International 1460 combine my grandma wanted a new mower so my grandpa got them to put it in the deal. Glad to have the 1811 back in the family my plans are to eventually restore it. Shortly after getting that I purchased a 1978 International Cub Cadet 1650 just rebuilt the kohler k341 in it. I purchased a 1A tiller that I'm going to mount to it to till gardens this coming spring. Also have purchased a 10 in. moldboard plow that I run behind the 1811. I installed a sleeve hitch on the 1811 back in September so I could ruin the moldboard plow. I also bought a 54 inch snow blade that I have on the 1811 now to plow snow with.My good friend and I plow snow and in the spring and fall we are going to plow and till gardens, looking forward to doing that. They say it's addicting and they are so true, can't stop hope to buy another quietline, a 782 diesel, and possibly a 102 down the road. Always looking for more. Hope to figure out how to post pics soon glad to have been introduced to this forum! Look forward to getting to know all! :)
If it ain't red it stays in the shed!

I thought the smallest thing they had in Indiana was a Cub . Still not sure what a 'quietline' is, but I did buy a nice Cub from a guy on eBay who goes by that name....

Welcome to the forum!

Thanks for all the welcomes great site still trying to figure all of it out. To Buzzard Wing the quietline series was the first ones to have side panels inclosing the engine the thought was it would make them quieter. If anybody would like to ad to that please do. Hope that helps!

G'day to you :D

While we are mostly orientated toward the larger Farmall Cubs and the Numbered Series, many of us have Cub Cadets and enjoy them immensely. There are lots of resources available to our members although we are a little light on Cub Cadet materials. To help learn about our site, the links below will be of use I think.

Image to Farmallcub.com :big smile: Forum Family. And you have come to the right place for all things Cub related. If you click on the Site Rules, Regulations, & Important Information, it will point you to  the Welcome Wagon wherein you will find links to many useful sites and topics. One of which is the Cub Manual Server. Enjoy!.
