New to Farmall

Postby Blakearooskey » Sun Apr 29, 2012 10:38 pm

Just stopping in to say howdy from Texas. I just picked up a Farmall Super C from my father in law. Looking at the serial (192339) I am guessing it is a 1954. Has a trailer type shredder that I cannot identify yet. I will post pics as soon as I can. Looking forward to restoring and glad I found this site. Any advice? Owner/service/repair manuals you guys have would be appreciated also.

Thanks!

G'day and congrats :applause: on acquiring a new to you SC :D There are two great ways to acquire manuals for your SC. 1st would be Binder Books, who are the only licensed reproduction house for IH Manuals. The other great place to buy original IH manuals is :eBay:. Takes a little longer but you can get some real deals if you are patient. Some may have slightly not so great covers but the insides can be amazing. That is where I get a lot of the manuals for the Manual Server.

Here is an example using the Farmall Super C Manuals search string:
