New cub owner in South Texas

Postby Sandia » Wed Apr 04, 2012 2:59 pm

Hello, everyone. I have been reading the forums for a few weeks and decided it was time to introduce myself. I just acquired a 1952 cub that seems to be in pretty good shape. Needs paint, wiring and front tires. The engine is very strong, clutch seems good has all the original lights and all operate. The fuel tank was replaced at some time, the previous owner never even bothered to paint it as it is still in primer. Looking forward to learning about the little guy.

Sandia:

G'day to you and congrats :applause: on acquiring that new to you '52 :D I bet it won't be alone very long, these little guys are pretty addictive. To learn more about your Cub suggest you read the Owner's Manual to get familiar with your Cub. As you become comfortable, peruse the Parts Catalog (good idea so you know what the individual parts look like) and the Service Manual. You will find these and a lot of other really good info and resources by following the links below :

If you click on the Site Rules, Regulations, & Important Information, it will point you to  the Welcome Wagon wherein you will find links to many useful sites and topics. One of which is the Cub Manual Server. Enjoy!.

Appreciate the welcome. Yes, I saw the show advertised for Canton, unfortunately family stuff has us pretty much tied down at the moment.
