Hi: Mike from Ashville, Ohio here. I have a 1953 Cub that is the marvel of Cub Tug at Big Dog's place. People can not believe all the
weird stuff that was done to it. A bunch of the guys jumped in and helped get it running today and it was greatly appreciated. The camaraderie is amazing at Darrell's place. Everyone is so nice and welcoming. I am looking forward to the tug and maybe even getting
my cub into the fray.

Ed - Mike's nephew took the tractor to install new gears in the tranny. I haven't heard from him so I don't know how much progress he has made.

Mike sure put a lot of work into that Cub at the Tug and his face really glowed when it fired up and he was able to drive it. I can understand his frustration when he heard all that racket in the trans. What was drained from it sure didn't look appealing, that's for sure. I wish I had my camera with me at the time, It would have been the perfect example of what can be expected to be found in a trans after sitting a while. Of course, what I saw should never be viewed anywhere near mealtime.

I'm glad it is coming along for him.

I don't think that anyone got a picture of the transmission drainage. Would have been a good "educational" photo. Ed
